Penerapan Prinsip Ekonomi Islam dalam Gerakan Ekonomi Muhammadiyah

This research examines the application of Islamic economic principles in Muhammadiyah's economic movement and its impact on financial performance and community welfare. Using a qualitative method with a focus on document and literature analysis, this study involves in-depth search and review of various documentary sources, including Muhammadiyah's annual reports, scientific publications, and related literature published in the 2010-2020time span. The results showed that Muhammadiyah's implementation of Islamic economic principles, especially through sharia cooperatives and economic empowerment programs, significantly improved the organization's financial performance and contributed to the improvement of community welfare.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan prinsip ekonomi Islam dalam gerakan ekonomi Muhammadiyah dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja finansial serta kesejahteraan masyarakat. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan fokus pada analisis dokumen dan literatur, studi ini melibatkan penelusuran dan kajian mendalam terhadap berbagai sumber dokumenter, termasuk laporan tahunan Muhammadiyah, publikasi ilmiah, dan literatur terkait yang diterbitkan dalam rentang waktu 2010-2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi prinsip ekonomi Islam oleh Muhammadiyah, terutama melalui koperasi syariah dan program pemberdayaan ekonomi, secara signifikan meningkatkan kinerja finansial organisasi dan berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
